Pretty in Mink Pink

As the winter chill unpredictably creeps in,  find clever ways to layer up without loading yourself down. Nobody likes to walk into the room and have to hold onto stacks of outer layers that are no longer necessary in heated space. Find a long sleeve crop top or your favorite sweater, and throw it on top of a dress to add some warmth without sacrificing your shape and silhouette. And when winter settles in for the season, say ‘good-bye’ to bare legs and seamlessly introduce some tights into this look.

We love using a lot of color in our outfits these days. Incorporating opposing colors on the color wheel can really liven up a wintry wardrobe. One of our current favorite combinations is this saturated orange and beautiful blue/teal.  Try on a little color theory for yourself!

Put your name down for Frye’s new best seller and the shoe of the season. They are SERIOUSLY comfortable and a fantastic alternative to ballet flats for summer dresses.

ruffles and lace and bows

We love these victorian accents but we know sometimes all those bits and layers can add up to a feeling of… fussy and over dressed.  The Minx trick?  A chic navy color pallet.  So, now that you know our secret… layer on those feminine accents with abandon!

Grey Area

A tunic on the tall ones or a mini dress on the petite. So many things fall into that grey area these days. BUT either way you wear it, this romantic taupe number will make you smile. The scarf is a little piece of heaven too. Few things are softer and nothing makes an up-coming winter feel brighter than your favorite, cozy, colorful scarf.
