Our Inner Gypset loves Extasia, Indie Ella, and Trashy Diva

Sometimes, sunny  afternoons seem to lend themselves to indulgence.  And we’re happy to abide! If the iconic Talitha Getty (not familiar? Check her out. Ultimate girl crush material) has taught us anything, it’s the art of savoring a summers day draped in the most beautifully dramatic garb.kimono_b  And how to better pamper our inner bon vivant than spending the day wrapped in Indie Ella’s silk kimonos?

Each of these pieces are made from upcycled Indian saris and produced by certified Fair Trade labor- boasting both showstopping silhouettes and fashion consciousness.

Indie Ella Kimono

kimono_b-3While the kimono may feel indulgent enough for some, we always love to push the envelope. Why not try to switch things up underneath? We loved styling this in the most unexpected way- a tropical bustier from Trashy Diva and coated shorts keep this look interesting from top to bottom.

But, we’ve saved the best for last. We are all swooning over these stunning ivory necklaces from Extasia (see another option here).

Unbelievably, each of these pieces are carved from 15,000 year old fossilized mammoth deposits (and don’t fret, they’re also certified), and finished with a gold plated bronze chain. If that doesn’t make it an immediate heirloom piece, what does?

kimonoSo, go on. Treat yourself. You deserve it! A little sunny summer indulgence is good for the soul.
